About Us

Amy White (Fowler), Licensed Clinical Social Worker

I’m guided by the mantra, "In each moment, I’m free to decide," a lesson my father instilled in me early on. Since I was 12, I’ve been passionate about helping others, which led me to a career in therapy. I love supporting individuals and families in making meaningful changes and navigating challenging situations.

Through my work with diverse populations and various mental health issues, I’ve found my niche in helping individuals with eating disorders, as well as those navigating prenatal, pregnancy, and postpartum experiences. I also specialize in trauma processing and utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, an effective approach that helps clients confront and reframe traumatic memories, promoting emotional well-being and resilience. Additionally, I have extensive experience supporting neurodivergent clients, those dealing with anxiety and depression, and parents of neurodivergent children.

After the birth of my son, I encountered targeted ads about “losing the baby weight” and “getting back to my pre-baby body.” I’m grateful for my training in disordered eating and body image, which helped me navigate my own pregnancy and postpartum experiences. This reinforced my commitment to Health At Every Size and anti-diet perspectives, and I strive to offer this support to others facing similar challenges.

I understand that reaching out for help can be daunting. Whether you’re dealing with eating disorders, postpartum anxiety, trauma, or neurodivergence, I’m here to support you. My approach is individualized and client-centered, focusing on harm reduction and meeting you where you are. Together, we’ll identify what you want to work on and change and take the necessary steps to help you understand your true self and achieve your goals.
